About Us

Beautiful Western Facility that checks all the boxes. AQHA/PtHA  Professional, Santana Poteet is a carded horse show judge, and brings with her 20+ years experience in the equine industry along with a certificate in Equine Business Management, a Bachelors in Business Management-Accounting, and a Masters in Business Management from the University of South Carolina.  She is also a certified Equine Massage Therapist. Santana is a 4th generation equestrian and  received her first pony at the age of 2. From the pony She advanced quickly into Dressage and competed through 3rd level. Santana has competed in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Driving, Equitation, Ranch Riding, Reining, training level eventing, and Speed Events at the local and national levels.  In her early youth she spent her time breaking and training her family's young horses! Through middle and high school she competed on the Central Carolina Equestrian IEA team based out of Lucama, NC. She competed at the IEA nationals in reining and horsemanship and received titles in both events. She then went on to compete on the college level with the IHSA competing at the open level. She has years of experience in purchasing and conditioning/prep for sale. She has successfully completed at the Congress, NRHA futurities, NBHA World, and IEA nationals. Santana finds her passion in the all around stock horse, specifically Quarter Horses. She enjoys helping equine reveal and develop their underlying potential.  She also greatly enjoys teaching and helping other equestrians find their passion  and develop their skills in and out the show pen. Double C Ranch horses is excited to have Santana with Blue Collar Performance horses training at their facility for the Aiken area.
